SA Community Changemakers Summit
Meet and get inspired by your peers and those that have gone before, build momentum in your community work, and join a powerful network of emerging community leaders + doers from across South Australia and beyond!
We’re so excited to be partnering with YACSA, City of Onkaparinga and the Local Government Youth Development Network (LGYDN) to bring together purpose-aligned 18-26 year olds for a changemaking gathering of the ages later this month.
Connect with other trailblazers, learn from expert leaders and be inspired by the incredible work that young people are doing in communities across South Australia. Keep reading if this sparks joy!
We’ll all be converging on the iconic SAHMRI Building (Adelaide/Kaurna Meyunna Yerta) in North Terrace on Saturday 27th May from 9am-3.30pm. This is an in-person event with limited places.
The Summit is a gathering to hear and share what you’ve got going on in your community, meet new people that you might not connect with otherwise, and provide mutual support and guidance for your next steps as young citizens creating a better future. Through multiple sessions, we’re cracking open the community hive-mind to explore various touch points of civic agency, community building & activation, and opportunities for influencing change, finding support and getting involved in the SA community. Session topics across the day will be covering:
- Government and Democracy
- Influencing and Leading
- Action and Sustainability
Each attendee will also receive two months of Ripple Fast-Track membership support so that you can access more opportunities to create a better future.
