Ability Agriculture Foundation (AAF)
The Ability Agriculture Foundation (AAF) offers the Ability Agriculture Youth Sponsorship Initiative to support persons with disability in livestock showing in Australia.
Key outcomes of this program align with our mission to enable awareness, inclusion & opportunity for persons with disability to enter, thrive & succeed in our agricultural community.
Eligible applicants include youth with disability (visible, invisible, physical, cognitive, social, hidden, impairment) participating in an affiliated youth livestock judging or showing, Agricultural show or training in Australia.
Eligible youth are persons with disability that meet livestock show age requirements for youth participation.
Youth are only eligible to receive support from the Ability Agriculture Youth program once per year.
Youth are only eligible to apply for the Ability Agriculture Youth program for a single event and or training per show season.
Primarily eligible animals include sheep, goats, cattle (Beef & Dairy), pigs, birds & alpacas. Please list animal if not listed here.
Eligible applicants must:
Identify as a person with disability
Outline the agricultural show and or event they are participating in
Individuals, Teachers, family members and or supporters can apply on behalf or support an interested applicant in their application
Parental approval is needed for applicants under the age of 18
Age limit 25 yrs
Maximum amount of sponsorship is $500 AUD

If your show occurs after the application deadline, you are still eligible to apply before the application closes.
