1. Impact

Genuine and clear impact shown to improve/support women’s mental health in Australia.

2. Reportability

The outcome delivered should be succinctly reported and easily communicated to the wider community.

3. Awareness & reach

The project has the potential to reach wider networks to promote the outcome achieved to bring further awareness around women’s mental health

How we assess the grant

The project has the potential to reach wider networks to promote the outcome achieved to bring further awareness around women’s mental health

The Funding Review Panel will assess applications and allocate funding in the way it believes will generate the highest level of impact for women in Australia.

As funding is limited and in very high demand, the panel will typically seek to fund outcomes that fill the gaps identified in our Annual Mental Health Research study; as well as expenses that are essential to ensuring an initiative, support service or project can occur; before allocating funding for non-essential expenses.

We are committed to making funding decisions underpinned by our scientifically valid, ongoing research that specifically focuses on Australian women, their experiences and needs and adequately filling the gaps in mental health programs, initiatives, support services and research.

We also collaboratively work alongside a community of experts, advocates and allies to raise and distribute funds towards the most critical women’s mental health outcomes. This is all part of our commitment to making an ‘informed impact’.
