Why us?
Help us drive impact in:
The opportunity:
Why you might love this opp:
Clean Slate Clinic isn’t your average health service. We’re a clinician-led telehealth service smashing the barriers - geography, cost, stigma - that stop people from accessing alcohol detox and recovery care. With a purpose-driven team, thoughtful technology and expert clinicians, we’re on a mission to make life-changing treatment easier to access from home.
Why you might love this opportunity
🏥 Work with a bigger goal: At Clean Slate Clinic, you’ll be part of a team making life-changing recovery care accessible to everyone. We’re not just another telehealth service - you’ll be part of the support crew, the reset button, and the barrier-breaking solution that’s redefining addiction care with expert clinicians, simple tech, and lived experience at the heart.
💛 Values-led leadership: You’ll be joining a values-led team, with the co-founders each bringing highly impactful careers that inform their leadership. The work here is deeply human, grounded in dignity, trust and care, while combining clinical expertise with innovative delivery models the system is only just catching up to.
🌏 Impact in action: In just six years, Clean Slate has gone from idea to scale - supporting 3,000+ people to safely recover from home, partnering with major health insurers including Medibank, Bupa and nib, government programs and expanding into the UK. Add features across ABC, 9News and national media as well as a 2025 Patients Australia Award for Outstanding Digital Health Service, and it’s clear this isn’t fringe healthcare - it’s the future of how recovery works.
🥜 In a nutshell: As Clean Slate grows, its 12-person client support team sits at the heart of making sure every person reaching out for recovery care is supported quickly, warmly and all the way through. You’ll give that busy operation shape; holding the aerial view across intake bookings, emails, SMS, calls and clinician requests, then turning shifting demand into a clear plan. You’ll judge where the team’s attention is needed, where your own effort will add the most value and how to keep everything moving without losing sight of the person behind each task. If a beautifully cleared queue brings you an unreasonable amount of satisfaction, you may have found your next move.
📅 Your week: Monday starts with the weekend catch-up: calls and messages waiting, fresh intake bookings in the calendar and clinician requests ready for action. First job? Read the room and the queues. Work out what changed since Friday, match demand with the team’s availability and reset the priorities. From there, you might gently help a client access telehealth, action a clinician’s follow-up request or make a note of something to be streamlined or automated later. You’ll judge what to handle, coordinate or escalate, staying with each thread until the next step is clear. The Friday feeling: clear queues, closed loops and a deeply satisfying run of ticked boxes.
🕶️ Your style: Frankly, you’ve probably never met a tangled workflow, overgrown inbox or chaotic calendar you didn’t want to bring under control. You’re the friend with the booking confirmation saved offline, the colleague who reads the brief before the meeting and the person who knows when a quick call will save six rounds of messages. Warm, prepared and quietly persuasive, you have a knack for getting everyone moving in the same direction. A lively pace brings out your best, along with the satisfaction of leaving people clearer and the world around you a little more organised.
🧞 What you bring: We know brilliant service operators can come from all sorts of places: healthcare, telehealth, community services, student services, hospitality, a startup or somewhere less obvious. Maybe you’ve spent a few years in client-facing support or service operations and become the person trusted to keep a shared workload beautifully organised, handovers crisp and people cared for along the way. You’ve handled real volume, learnt the rhythms of a team and grown from owning your patch to helping everyone stay across the wider picture. Whatever the setting, you bring a strong coordination foundation and enough operational experience to find your feet quickly.
🧩 Finding the right fit for this purpose-led role is top of mind. With a 12-person cross-functional team around you, you’ll stay close to delivery while shaping how work is coordinated and improved. It’s a chance to lead through clarity, relationships and follow-through, building the judgement and influence that could take you into formal leadership as Clean Slate grows.
📍 The detail: Permanent, full-time role working 38 hours per week. Fully remote and open to candidates across Australia, with a private workspace and reliable internet required. Salary of $85,000–$105,000 + super, depending on experience. This is a non-clinical role with no direct reports; with room to grow into more responsibility over time. Full permanent Australian working rights required.
What's involved:
The balance of work will shift over time but to start:
〰️ 45% Client Support & Inbound Flow
Own the daily flow across phone, SMS and email, triaging each enquiry by urgency and risk while keeping the shared queue moving. This is sharp triage brain meets kind human energy: helping clients navigate appointments, telehealth and the program with warmth and zero judgement. You’ll know what to handle, when to bring in clinical expertise and how to follow each thread through to a clear next step.
〰️ 30% Clinician Coordination & Closing the Loop
Own the administrative tasks raised by clinicians, including follow-ups, rebookings, appointment actions and information needed around care. Complete tasks within your scope, coordinate scheduling and changes with clinicians, and keep every open action visible. Think relay team: clean handovers, clear next moves and everyone free to run their strongest leg. Your finish line: every request actioned, escalated or closed.
〰️ 25% Records, Systems & Service Improvement
Keep bookings, customer accounts, CRM and practice-management records accurate, secure and easy to follow. Catch open actions and leave notes that save the next person from an archaeological dig. When the same question keeps returning, your brain is already sketching the shortcut: a sharper template, clearer training materials or smarter workflow. Small operational upgrades, compounded into serious team headspace.
Key criteria:
🧭 Natural Orchestrator: You’ve coordinated an operation with multiple people, priorities and dependencies in play. You could see how one change would affect everything downstream, reshape the plan and land every handover. If there’s a running order, roster or colour-coded plan holding the whole thing together, there’s a fair chance you made it.
⚡ Quick + Careful: You’ve absorbed complex situations quickly, found the signal and set a clear course as conditions changed. You made confident decisions at startup speed, then carried the details accurately through to action. Scan, prioritise, act, check. Pace and precision travelling together.
💛 Warm With Humans: You’ve built trust across different backgrounds, roles and communication styles. You know when a thoughtful message will land, when the room needs clarity and when five emails would be better replaced by one kind phone call.
🧠 Trusted Judgement: You’ve weighed context, urgency, risk, boundaries and downstream consequences to form a clear view. You’ve demonstrated what you could confidently own, when a sharper question would improve the decision and when another perspective would strengthen the outcome.
🔁 Full-Circle Follow-through: You’ve carried work across multiple stages, people and decisions, keeping each thread visible until the outcome was clear. You followed up, kept people informed and confirmed each action had landed. When you said, “I’ve got it,” people knew it was as good as done.
🛠️ Systems That Buy Back Time: You’ve learnt digital tools quickly, connected information across systems and recognised patterns in the work. A repeated question doesn’t just test your patience; it has you mentally drafting the template. You’ve turned those clues into better workflows and processes that create clarity, consistency and more useful time for everyone.
🧡 Purpose: Values alignment with the team and the broader mission to improve health and wellness support for people experiencing addiction through a unique at-home model of care, delivered by expert clinicians.
