Ready to steer a marketing engine that powers Australia’s Reconciliation movement?
Why us?
Help us drive impact in:
The opportunity:
Why you might love this opp:
Use your skills to help grow a national movement of Allies, shaping a more inclusive Australia. Co-directed by proud Bardi woman and Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Munya Andrews, and passionate non-Indigenous ally, Carla Rogers, Evolve Communities have a bold vision to make 10 million Australians more culturally aware - sparking a kinder, more unified nation.
Impact in action: Their Work? First Nations-led education that moves hearts, shifts minds, and transforms workplaces. From bite-sized webinars to deep-dive workshops, Evolve Communities has guided millions of individuals and thousands of organisations to take everyday steps toward Practical Reconciliation. Their culturally grounded approach builds more inclusive workplaces; they are trusted by small, local teams through to organisations like Google, Aesop, Mecca and Atlassian — work that has seen them recognised with the 2024 Telstra National Building Communities award.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll be the steady, curious hand keeping our marketing engine humming — and finding smart ways to scale what’s landing. You’ll take the reins of a well-oiled ecosystem (socials, webinars, funnels), fine-tune it to deliver a steady stream of high-quality leads, and design and implement the marketing strategy that keeps us growing. You’ll manage campaign planning and system management while fostering a collaborative environment where strategic vision and tactical execution work seamlessly together. You will provide strategic direction and oversight to our Social Media Coordinator, while working closely with our Sales Manager and Client Success Manager to ensure our marketing efforts drive meaningful results.
Your week: A blend of ideas, execution, and teamwork. Monday, you’re fine-tuning a funnel to sell out our National Reconciliation week Webinar, shaping next month’s email campaign themes, and checking in with our Social Media Coordinator to keep content aligned with the wider strategy. Midweek, you’re pitching a story or teaming up with our Sales Manager on a campaign that drives Allyship and partnering with our Client Success Manager to optimise customer journeys. All the while, you’re tracking what matters, refining what works, and keeping momentum strong.
Your style: You show up with clarity, care, and a calm kind of confidence — owning your work, backing your results, and bringing steady, positive energy to the team. You’re a thoughtful communicator who listens deeply, helps ideas land, and uses storytelling to bring a shared vision to life. You love to collaborate - combining forces to create work that reflects the strengths and ideas of the whole team. You bring both creativity and discipline to the process, fine-tuning systems so they serve the work. You welcome the opportunity to learn from trusted teammates and advisors, growing alongside them. And through it all, you’re guided by a deep commitment to Reconciliation and genuine respect for First Nations communities.
How we work: We’re a small but mighty remote team built on trust, accountability, and clear communication. When challenges arise, we tackle them head-on and look for smarter ways forward, always refining our systems and processes to make Evolve Communities stronger. Collaboration, healthy challenge, and ownership drive us — and our kind, hands-on leaders guide with clarity and create space for growth.
Flex with purpose: This is a 21-hour-a-week role (spread over 3-4 days), with opportunity to expand to full-time basis on demonstrated success in the role. A salary of $75,000–$90,000 pro rata + superannuation — and the freedom to work from wherever you’re based in Australia. You’ll plug into a tight, values-driven team — collaborating with the Directors, our Social Media Coordinator, and Sales and Client Success leads to bring powerful stories to life. You’ll need working rights in Australia, and a passion for making your hours count.

Full-funnel marketing ownership: You’ve created and executed (B2B and B2C) campaigns end-to-end across email, social, webinars, newsletters, and partnerships. You know how to build and tweak funnels, manage long sales cycles, track the right numbers, lift lead quality without guesswork — and use the latest digital tools, including AI, to boost performance where it counts.
CRM & Marketing Automation Expertise: You’re fluent in CRMs (Ontraport preferred, but experience in HubSpot or ActiveCampaign works too) and can build smart email sequences, automation flows, and nurturing campaigns that engage the right people and move them to action.
AI Smart & Digitally fluent: You’re fluent in the digital tools that make marketing smarter — from using AI to sharpen content, optimise campaigns, and lift lead quality, to overseeing SEO strategy, managing WordPress, building automations, and quickly picking up whatever new tools the job demands.
Creative Problem Solver: You jump in, spot what’s needed, and consider solutions from a variety of perspectives. Whether you’re problem-solving on the fly or iterating on feedback, you’re all about keeping projects moving toward their goals - creatively, confidently, and always driven by your values.

You bring people with you, listen deeply, and communicate with clarity. You adapt fast, solve problems on the fly, and stay steady under pressure. You lead confidently, while also valuing the chance to learn from Directors and trusted advisors.
