Why you might love this opp:

Clean Slate Clinic isn’t your average health service. We’re a clinician-led telehealth service smashing the barriers - geography, cost, stigma - that stop people from accessing alcohol detox and recovery care. With a purpose-driven team, thoughtful technology and expert clinicians, we’re on a mission to make life-changing treatment easier to access from home.

Why you might love this opportunity

🏥 Work with a bigger goal: At Clean Slate Clinic, you’ll be part of a team making life-changing recovery care accessible to everyone. We’re not just another telehealth service - you’ll be part of the support crew, the reset button, and the barrier-breaking solution that’s redefining addiction care with expert clinicians, simple tech, and lived experience at the heart.

💛 Values-led leadership: You’ll be joining a values-led team, with the three co-founders each bringing highly impactful careers that inform their leadership. The work here is deeply human, grounded in dignity, trust and care, while combining clinical expertise with innovative delivery models the system is only just catching up to.

🌏 Impact in action: In just six years, Clean Slate has gone from idea to scale - supporting 4,000+ people to safely recover from home, partnering with 30+ major health insurers including Medibank, Bupa and nib, government programs and expanding into the UK. Add features across ABC, 9News and national media as well as a 2025 Patients Australia Award for Outstanding Digital Health Service, and it’s clear this isn’t fringe healthcare - it’s the future of how recovery works.

🥜 In a nutshell: You’ll help turn a list of potential partners into real conversations - finding the right people, picking up the phone, following up and getting meetings into the Head of Partnerships’ calendar. You’ll also sit in on partner conversations, help keep existing relationships warm, and learn how the whole business development engine works from the inside. A proper foot in the door to partnerships and a fast-growing health-tech social enterprise — with practical skills you can keep building on as the role grows with you.

📅 Your week: One minute you’re working through a fresh contact list, figuring out who inside a big insurer, employer or health company is the right person for a conversation; the next you’re sitting in on a partnership meeting with people doing fascinating work, hearing how the deal gets shaped and jumping on the follow-up while it’s fresh. Expect a mix of calls, follow-ups, meetings and small wins: names crossed off, conversations started, relationships building. Keep HubSpot beautifully under control - notes logged, follow-ups clear, contacts tidy and everything easy for the team to pick up at a glance. Then the very satisfying experience of watching conversations you started turn into real opportunities for Clean Slate.

🕶️ Your style: You’re probably already the person who organised the group project, followed up the speaker, kept the volunteer roster moving or turned a coffee chat into three useful introductions. You like people and you like things being sorted. New tool? You’ll click around until it makes sense. Feedback? You’ll try it on the next call. You’re happy owning your patch, but you also love being in the (zoom) room, learning from people who know their stuff and getting sharper as you go.

🧞 What you bring: Maybe you’ve made fundraising calls, sold memberships, worked a busy shop floor, chased sponsors for a uni club, helped run a startup society, built a side hustle or had your first taste of sales, partnerships or account support. Chances are, you’re also the default organiser: colour-coding the volunteer list, whipping the member database into shape, or turning the event spreadsheet into a thing of unreasonable beauty. You’ll teach yourself the new tool when the old setup starts giving 2014. Different paths welcome. The common thread: you start conversations, follow up and keep things moving.

🧩 Finding the right fit for this purpose-led role is top of mind. You don’t need to arrive knowing the playbook. There’s structured training, Loom walkthroughs, plenty of time early on learning from an experienced Head of Partnerships, and real support to learn the calls, the CRM and the rhythm of a strong week. If you’re drawn to the mission, curious about the people it serves and excited to learn, there’s plenty here to grow into. More ownership, more responsibility, and room to find the parts of the work you’re best at.

📍 The detail: Full-time, 100% remote role open to candidates across Australia, reporting to the Head of Partnerships. Whether you’re stepping into your first commercial role or bringing a little experience from sales, partnerships or customer-facing work, there’s room to grow here. Salary $60,000-$72,000 + super. Full permanent Australian working rights required.

What's involved:

The balance of work will shift over time but to start:

〰️ 55% New Business & Meeting Generation:

Turn a contact list into a calendar full of conversations. You’ll track down the right people inside insurers, employers, workers comp providers and EAPs, pick up the phone, follow up and keep nudging things forward. A good week? More names crossed off, more meetings booked, and a few promising new doors starting to open.

〰️ 30% Account Management & Relationship Growth:

Keep the good relationships warm. Sit in on partner meetings, remember what mattered last time, jump on the follow-up and help make every interaction with Clean Slate feel thoughtful and switched on. Over time, you’ll start taking on some relationships yourself and learn how a small check-in can grow into something much bigger.

〰️ 15% CRM, Follow-up & Commercial Visibility:

Keep HubSpot looking chef’s kiss. Contacts tidy, notes useful, follow-ups clear, nothing drifting into the abyss. You’ll be the person making sure the team can see what’s happening, what’s next and where the energy is building.

Key criteria:

📞 Comfortable Connecting: Maybe you’ve made fundraising calls, worked a busy shop floor, chased sponsors for a uni society, recruited volunteers, sold memberships or simply had a job where talking to strangers was part of Tuesday. You’ve shown you can make the first move, hold a conversation and keep going when the answer isn’t immediately yes.

🤝 Relationship Builder: You’ve had people come back to you because you listened, remembered the detail and followed through. Warm without being vague. Personable without losing the point. The kind of person who makes others feel heard and keeps the relationship moving.

🏃 Stick-With-It Energy: You’ve pursued something long enough to get better at it. A job you held for years. A side project you refused to abandon. A skill you taught yourself from scratch. Whatever the context, you’ve shown you don’t disappear the second the novelty wears off.

📈 Motivated by Momentum: You’ve worked towards a target, deadline, streak or result and liked seeing yourself get closer. A full progress bar. Another meeting booked. Five things ticked before lunch. You’ve shown that having something tangible to chase brings out your best.

🧩 Systems & Follow-Through Star: You’ve kept track of customers, shifts, study, follow-ups, projects or competing priorities without everything disappearing into the void. Maybe you’ve run the spreadsheet, kept the member list tidy or been the person everyone trusted to remember what happens next. You’ve shown you can learn a system and use it properly.

🌱 Fast-Learning Operator: You’ve taken feedback, picked up a new tool or taught yourself something from scratch, then put it straight into practice. You’ve shown that when someone invests time in teaching you, you get better fast and do something useful with it.

🧡 Mission Matters: You’ve been drawn to work, study, volunteering or projects where the outcome mattered to people. You’re excited by the chance to build serious commercial skills while helping more people access withdrawal and recovery support from home.
