Why you might love this opp:

The Snow Foundation is a family philanthropic foundation deeply committed to place, country and community. Their purpose is to create lasting social change by building strong communities and forging fair systems.

💙 For over 30 years, the foundation has stood alongside bold leaders and grass roots initiatives tackling some of Australia’s toughest and most neglected social issues. They focus on six themes - Gender, First Nations, Youth, LGBTIQ+, Community, and Ecosystem - investing in, and working alongside, leaders and initiatives that advance equity and strong leadership across Australia.Their work is hands-on, values-led and deeply relational; the impact stretches across communities and generations.

⚡ Impact in action: In 2025 alone, the Snow Foundation invested more than $16M across 120+ partners - strengthening community organisations, elevating advocacy movements and backing 30+ social change leaders in the Snow Entrepreneurs program. Snow’s philanthropy goes beyond giving money; they add value through advice, skills, research, advocacy and capital works. Relationships are at the heart of everything they do.

🧭 In a nutshell: This is the role that creates clarity, rhythm and focus for a CEO who leads at pace across philanthropy and community. You’ll be the person who sees what’s coming, organises what matters, and creates the conditions for high-stakes leadership to drive impact. It’s part support, part operational control tower and part relational anchor for a team that values trust, care and momentum.

👥 The human heartbeat: You’ll work side-by-side with CEO Georgina Byron AM - a leader known for her clarity, integrity and care. Her work spans boardrooms and community spaces, and she is relied on by partners across sectors. Supporting a leader of this calibre requires someone who reads tone quickly, senses pressure points early, and can confidently guide attention to what truly matters. You’ll also be the steady presence across a tight, values-led team - the connective tissue that keeps information flowing and people aligned.

⚖️ The best kind of juggling act: Your days move between refining a briefing pack, recalibrating a high-pressure week, preparing context for a key meeting, or turning a messy thread of emails into one clean next step. You keep priorities aligned, conversations moving and timing clean - building small systems that shave minutes off the CEO’s day, whether that’s triaging the inbox or tightening a workflow. It’s the quiet precision behind the scenes that helps the CEO make clear decisions - and unlock outsized impact.

🕶️ Your style: Finding the right fit for this purpose-led role is top of mind; values alignment is as important as your experience. You bring a steady, organised rhythm to your work - making complex weeks feel lighter through clarity, good judgement and clean execution. You’re quick to read a room, steady under pressure, and instinctive about what needs to rise to the top. You enjoy tools that make work cleaner and faster, using them thoughtfully to reduce friction rather than create noise. Above all, you work in a way that builds trust: attentive, discreet, values-driven, and consistently a step ahead.

💬 How we work: Snow Foundation is a close-knit, hands-on team of 16 across Sydney and Canberra, grounded in humility, transparency and a long-term commitment to social justice. People work closely, share context openly and collaborate with care - always focused on what serves communities best. It’s a culture shaped by empathy, trust and shared learning, where transparency guides decisions and ambition fuels Snow’s next chapter as an innovative, growing force in Australian philanthropy.

⚡ The detail: Based at Hub Hyde Park in Darlinghurst. A hybrid model of 5 days a week (with 3–4 days in the office). Salary aligned with senior EA market rates. Full, permanent working rights in Australia required.

What's involved:

The balance of work may shift over time, but to start:

〰️ 70% Executive Support & Leadership Rhythm

Hold the rhythm that lets the CEO focus on what moves the needle. You’ll shape the week, sequence priorities and manage the calendar & inbox with crisp judgement and a discreet hand - filtering noise, elevating what’s essential and using smart shortcuts to keep momentum high. You’ll prepare tight briefing packs and sharp one-pagers, pull the right context together fast, and make sure every meeting, board paper and engagement lands with clarity, relevance and the right tone. You read timing and relational dynamics quickly - shifting meetings, protecting strategic time and spotting emerging bottlenecks early - becoming the steady partner who keeps leadership firing on all cylinders. And when the week suddenly tries to grow extra limbs, you’re the one who calmly clips them back into shape.

〰️ 20% Operational Coordination

Keep the organisation humming behind the scenes. You’ll gather inputs, align information and sharpen materials so the Executive Team stays in sync. Enquiries across grants, governance and stakeholder engagement get triaged and actioned: follow-ups handled, logistics tidied, and documentation kept on point. Briefing deck, sensitive enquiry, complex milestone - even the odd travel tetris - you're the steady “we’ve got this” that keeps momentum on track.

〰️ 10% Office & Team Support

Be the calm centre that keeps the team connected. You’ll keep the office sharp and welcoming, support rhythms across Sydney and Canberra, and make sure the essentials - tech, files, WHS basics - stay smooth and stress-free. Visitors feel looked after, supplies don’t mysteriously run out, and when something needs fixing, you’re already halfway to sorted.

Key criteria:

💡 Calm Operator with Sharp Judgement: You’ve kept complex weeks on track - reshuffling commitments when priorities shifted, handling travel puzzles without fuss, and bringing steady clarity when the pressure dialled up. You were the person people turned to when things needed to move smoothly, fast and without drama.

🧭 One-Step-Ahead Thinker: You’ve anticipated needs before they were named - drafting briefs early, lining up context for decisions, building simple systems that saved hours, and guiding leaders’ attention to the work that actually shifts outcomes. You made the complex feel sequenced, ordered and doable.

🤝 Relational Radar: You’ve read tone, timing and undercurrents instinctively - shifting your approach with fluency, easing tense moments and supporting leaders with tact, warmth and sound judgement. You know what it is to foster connection and build trust quickly up, down and across - the kind of presence people feel comfortable relying on, no matter their role or context.

📄 Briefing, Governance & Communication Strength: You’ve prepared tight agendas, clean minutes and crisp one-pagers that got leaders ready for high-stakes conversations. You synthesised information quickly, tightened messy inputs, and produced materials that were accurate, aligned and fit for purpose.

💻 Digitally Fluent & Workflow-Minded: You’ve used Microsoft Office confidently, navigated databases with ease, and picked up new tools quickly. You used tech to reduce friction - smart shortcuts, tidy structures, faster workflows - never novelty for novelty’s sake.

🔐 Discretion, Ownership & the “Invisible Glue” Factor: You’ve handled sensitive information with maturity, knew what to escalate and what to absorb, and followed through completely without chasing. Whether it was a confidential board matter, a complex milestone or a quiet loose end, you were the reassuring “it’s sorted” presence that leaders rely on.

🌏 Values-Led & Impact-Driven: You’ve shown deep respect for equity, fairness and community. You worked with humility, professionalism and a commitment to supporting work that strengthens people and communities.
