We’re Humans of Purpose - a Certified B Corp digital agency, media platform and Academy supporting women facing barriers to employment into digital careers. We don’t just talk about impact. We measure it. We build it into the bones of our business.
We’re looking for a Content Lead who can deliver performance and purpose in the same breath.
Let’s speak plainly. You’ve done your time in agency land. You know what converts and what just looks good in a pitch deck. You can write, concept, script, brief, analyse and publish without hand-holding. You’ve been on the tools long enough to know where the dead ends are. And now?
You’re ready to lead. Not a bloated department. Not a politics-heavy hierarchy. A small, sharp pod of thinkers and doers - juniors hungry to learn, specialists who know their craft - and clients who genuinely care about the work they’re putting into the world.
What's involved:
This is not a “strategic oversight only” role. It’s a player-coach role. You’ll own outcomes, not just outputs.
You will:
- Lead content strategy and execution across a portfolio of purpose-driven clients
- Build content calendars that are grounded in insight, not guesswork
- Develop high-performing organic and paid content
- Analyse what’s working - and pivot fast when it’s not
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Contribute to our own brand, podcast and thought leadership
- Collaborate closely with strategy, client success and growth
Key criteria:
You might be:
- A strong junior stepping into mid-weight, ready to lead with guidance
- Or a mid-weight ready to own a small team and step into real leadership
Either way, you:
- Have 3+ years agency experience (essential)
- Understand content strategy and execution
- Know how to create content that converts - not just content that wins applause
- Can get on the tools (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, email platforms, CMS, analytics dashboards) and actually make things happen
- Are confident briefing designers, videographers and creators - and stepping in when needed
- Care about mentoring juniors and helping them lift their craft
- Want to work somewhere that expects performance - and delivers meaning
