Global Voices is looking for a new Volunteer Delegations Manager!
What does a Delegations Manager do?
- Lead planning and logistics for international delegations
- Build relationships with NGOs, govt, diplomats and academics
- Manage delegate applications
- Liaise with event secretariats on travel and accreditation
- Coordinate delegation schedules
- Support communications and produce summary reports
- Mentor delegates and provide feedback on written work
- Assist with admin
Key criteria:
What are we looking for?
- Aged 30 or under; Australian citizen, PR, or humanitarian visa holder
- Commit ~ 15hrs/week, including some evenings/weekends
- Attend 4-day Canberra Briefings (Held in June - fully funded)
- Travel internationally at least twice a year (fully funded)
- 2-year commitment
- Must have own laptop, phone and reliable internet
