Over two days, participants gain skills, build networks, hear from national and global leaders, and strengthen the movements working for justice, equity, and a fairer future.

  • Dates: March 24-25
  • Location: Naarm | Melbourne
  • Hosted by: Australian Progress
  • Audience: People working or volunteering in advocacy, campaigns, organising, movement-building, policy, social services, environment/climate, digital rights, gender justice, disability advocacy, First Nations justice, multicultural communities, economic fairness, and more.

There are several opportunities available, whether you're looking to attend - scholarships and discounted tickets are available for students and young leaders, or volunteer at Progress 2026.

Scholarships and discounts:

  • Free or heavily discounted tickets are available for First Nations people, people with disability, people of colour, people with lived experience seeking asylum, young people, and unwaged activists from grassroots movements who experience financial barriers to attending Progress 2026.
  • Are you a student or young leader interested in learning more about how social change happens? Undergraduate and post-graduate students are eligible for discounted online or in-person tickets.
  • Questions about the scholarship program? Email us at scholarships@australianprogress.org.au

 Volunteer opportunities:

  • We’re looking for volunteers with a range of skills to help welcome attendees, support with wayfinding and attendee questions, help speakers and presenters, photograph the event, manage AV or other tech, take on the social media, and more!
  • As a volunteer, you will receive free entry to Progress 2026 and be able to attend sessions whenever you are not on shift.
  • If you’re interested in the non-profit sector, and the progressive organisations working to shape a better country, then there’ll be much to learn at Progress.
  • If you’re looking to build your skills - whether in networking, communication, event management, social media or more technical skills - then there is also so much to be gained from volunteering at Progress.
