The Global Voices Fellowship supports young Australians (18-30)* to have an unparalleled opportunity with experience in policymaking and international diplomacy.
This semester, Global Voices is proud to be taking young Australians to the following multilateral forums:
- Sir Ninian Stephen's Law Delegation to the UN General Assembly Sixth Committee (Legal) - New York, USA | 5-9 October 2026
- IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings - Bangkok, Thailand | 12-16 October 2026
- UNFCCC Climate COP31 - Antalya, Turkey | 10-17 November 2026
All delegations will also be required to attend our Canberra Briefings Program in person | 22-24 June 2026. Please consider any travel days you may need before and after the briefings.
Stage 1 Applications close: April 17 2026, 11.59pm AEST (Melb/Syd time). We will not accept applications submitted after this time, that are incomplete, or that are sent via email.
This fully funded scholarship includes all domestic and international flights, accommodation, breakfasts, visas, insurance, and registration fees. You will need to cover the cost of meals, some transfers and obtaining your passport if required.
Key criteria:
Do I have to have experience in policy or international relations to apply?
No! We are looking for young people with a demonstrated interest in global issues, an ambitious spirit and the ability to communicate their ideas with the world effectively. That's it! We've had fellows studying engineering, design, law, science or not studying at all. If you've got a policy idea and an interest in international relations we want to hear from you.
