We’re looking for curious, committed young people aged 18–30 who care about Brisbane, think beyond themselves, and want to turn ideas into action alongside a community of people who do too.

Global Shapers Brisbane brings together young people from across our city who care about their communities and want to turn ideas into action. Our members come from different industries, backgrounds and experiences, but share a commitment to contributing to Brisbane and creating meaningful local impact.

Being a Shaper is an active volunteer commitment. Members are expected to participate in Hub meetings, contribute to projects and initiatives, communicate with fellow members, and take shared responsibility for the community we are building.

Before applying, please note that applicants must meet the Global Shapers Community eligibility requirements, including being under 30 years of age for the duration of the following 12 months.

We are looking for people who are curious, collaborative and willing to contribute, not simply those with the longest CV or most impressive job title. You do not need to have everything figured out, nor do you need an established record of leadership. We want to understand what you care about, the perspective you bring, and what you might help build alongside others.
